Matt Westwood
Development Underwriter
Matt started working in insurance in 1992 with R&SA in their personal lines division, then left to attend University.
A desire to live in London prompted a period working as an Account Executive for a provincial broker, Francis Townsend and Hayward, in South London.
Matt returned to Birmingham to work for JLT in 2000, followed by 6 years at Marsh offices in Birmingham and Leicester where he held both Account Broker and Account Executive positions.
Matt now works as a Development Underwriter for Ecclesiastical overseeing a panel of brokers based predominantly in the West Midlands including independents, networks and nationals.
He enjoys travel and has done a fair bit in the USA whilst working for the Camp America programme whilst at University. Matt has not yet completed his dream trip though - travelling the length of Route 66.
Matt enjoys socialising with friends, plays a bit of tennis and follows the fortunes of the Mighty Nottingham Forest FC.
