Amanda Hone
Senior Underwriter
Amanda started working for the Ecclesiastical within the Household department in 1988, straight from school. She then left in 1995 on maternity leave, but enjoyed being a mum so much she didn’t return to work until 1999.
She started back as a Schemes Underwriter and then moved on in January 2000 to the Commercial Department.
She now enjoys a variety of work, dealing with friendly brokers within the Southern Regional Office. Amanda's role covers all aspects of the underwriting process from new business quotations, endorsements and renewals for all our niche commercial products. She takes referrals from other members of staff and also has the responsibility for training them. Amanda helps with system issues and is Gloucester RUC’s database Champion.
In her spare time she is an avid Liverpool FC fan and also enjoys spending time holidaying with friends and family.
