“Ecclesiastical really understood our needs”

“Ecclesiastical helped our school get back up and running when we were flooded by torrential rains during extremely stormy weather. The flood damage was severe and included damage to the kitchen and to most of our classrooms. It was a very worrying time for us as we wanted to get the school reopened for the autumn term to minimise the impact on our students.

Right from the start we were given our own claims handler who was our point of contact throughout the repair work. She appointed a loss adjuster straight away to ensure work could be started as quickly as possible.

They appointed experienced contractors, who repaired the damage to the school on a room by room basis. This was reassuring as it meant we could see the repairs happening quickly!

We were also able to keep our ‘summer holiday club’ running at alternative premises, thanks to payments from Ecclesiastical, so we didn’t have to let down our students and their parents.

Throughout the repair work, we received regular calls from Ecclesiastical to make sure we were happy with everything. Their quick responses and their sensitivity to our need to reopen for the new term meant that, despite the situation, we felt reassured throughout.”
