Proud to support organisations working in the heritage sector

Our commitment to the heritage insurance market is long-standing. We insure 42 out of 43 Anglican cathedrals and are involved in 10 world heritage sites.

We are proud to have a wide range of relationships with organisations working within the heritage sector including English Heritage and the National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies (NADFAS).

Like us, English Heritage are passionate about protecting our heritage. We are delighted to be continuing our support during 2009 through a number of initiatives.

We are supporting the Festival of History – Britain’s largest historical event - and the 2009 Heritage at Risk register.

The focus of the register this year is Conservation areas at risk.

NADFAS’s appreciation and enjoyment of art and heritage reflects our own; we share a passion for maintaining heritage buildings for everyone to enjoy.

We support NADFAS’s Heritage volunteers who carry out valuable work to conserve and maintain our heritage.

We also support the Church Recorders group within NADFAS. This group is dedicated to recording the material artefacts of churches in order to provide a chartered history of the heritage behind the church. We have found such records invaluable when dealing with claims for church items, which have been stolen or vandalised.
