We focus on building strong working relationships with our scheme and affinity brokers. Apart from the daily contact our underwriters have, we meet our brokers regularly to discuss performance, underwriting and policy wordings, conduct annual audits and meet socially.
This regular contact has enabled us to work closely towards common goals of profitability and growth and build long-term relationships.
Our dedicated team of 25 professionals provide our brokers with an excellent, bespoke service, including:
dealing with underwriting referrals and providing technical support
controlling the portfolio of insurance scheme business
maintaining and monitoring profitability
providing development support with marketing and client contact to create a complete development package
Each scheme’s performance is monitored monthly using management information systems and additional detailed analysis is carried out each quarter.
This allows the account handlers and broker to swiftly identify trends in both claims and premium adequacy and, where appropriate, take action.
Schemes brokers have direct access to nominated Scheme Underwriters and Claims Handlers.

We add particular value to specialist schemes which present an element of underwriting challenge. This leverages our strengths in underwriting, service and use of specialist knowledge to protect clients better. We also add value to:
existing books of quality commercial, household and motor scheme business typically between £250,000 and £10m+ GWP
larger scheme opportunities in our niches (above £3 million GWP)
brokers and organisations who share our values and where these shared values can be leveraged, i.e. independent schools, nurseries, care, disabled transport, solicitors offices, agricultural vehicles, bed and breakfast homes, supply teachers, charities, park homes
brokers who look to design and create a competitive edge and quality service for their clients, thus protecting all from price-led, generalist propositions in the mass/composite market
