The Amity range of Socially Responsible Investment funds

The Amity UK Fund
This Fund aims to achieve long term capital appreciation and a reasonable level of income by investing principally in UK companies. This was Ecclesiastical Group's first retail fund and one of the UK's original socially responsible retail funds launched in 1988 (originally called Amity Fund). The Fund has been managed by Sue Round since inception.

The Fund will continue to be managed by Sue Round, Ecclesiastical’s Head of Investments.

The Amity European Fund
The objective of this Fund is to achieve long term capital growth with a reasonable level of income primarily through a diversified portfolio of European equities.

This Fund provides the opportunity to invest in European companies with strong socially responsible policies. It should appeal to investors looking to diversify their exposure into Continental Europe. The investment strategy is based upon a stock picking approach favouring companies with strong balance sheets, good cash flow generation and dividend yields.

Fund Manager: Chris Hiorns.

The Amity International Fund
Long term capital growth with a reasonable level of income through a diversified portfolio of international companies is the goal of this Fund.

Restructured from the old Allchurches International Fund, it will follow a similar investment strategy , but with an additional socially responsible screening process. The Fund offers investors the opportunity to invest in socially responsible screened investments on a global basis allowing them to gain exposure to some of the more rapidly growing regions and benefit from greater diversification.

Fund Manager: Robin Hepworth.

The Amity Sterling Bond Fund
Attractive income is the objective for this Fund, to be achieved by investing in UK Government and good quality UK based fixed interest securities. This includes investments in government bonds, corporate bonds, preference shares, convertibles and other loan stock.

This fund offers investors the opportunity to invest in a fixed interest offering using the same socially responsible screening process as our equity funds.

Fund Managers: Robin Hepworth and Chris Hiorns.
