Enter now for your chance to win a stay at an English Heritage cottage and £250 spending money.
This Free Prize Draw is open to residents of the UK (excluding residents of Northern Ireland), except employees of Ecclesiastical and English Heritage and their families, companies and individuals connected with the operation of this promotion.
Only one entry per household. Persons entering must be aged 18 years and over.
Entry to the draw is free. No purchase necessary. Entries must be made on the official entry form and handed to a representative of the Promoter at the Kenilworth Family Festival, 29 - 31 May 2010, the Scarborough Castle Wartime Weekend, 29 - 31 May 2010 and Festival of History at Kelmarsh Hall, 17 and 18 July 2010. You can also enter online at www.ecclesiastical.com/EHhome or by sending your name, address and telephone number on a postcard to: English Heritage Cottage Competition 2010 (Strategic Marketing), Ecclesiastical Insurance Office plc, Beaufort House, Brunswick Road, Gloucester GL1 1JZ. You can also enter using the coupon on the adverts in the Heritage Today magazine.
Responsibility cannot be accepted for lost, delayed or damaged entries. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify incomplete, altered or illegible entries.
No correspondence will be entered into.
The prize is a £500 English Heritage holiday cottage stay voucher and £250 spending money. There is only one prize available. You will be responsible for arranging your own transport arrangements and any costs associated with travel and the break, over above the £250 contribution. Subject to availability, you can select the length of stay and your preferred cottage - full details of costs and cottages can be found on the English Heritage website.
The closing date for all entries shall be 7pm, 31 October 2010.
A winner will be chosen at random by an independent judge. The judge’s decision is final. Any dispute will be settled under the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
There is no cash alternative to the prize stated.
The prize is not transferable.
The prize winner will be notified in writing by 12 November 2010.
Photographs and details of the winner may be used for publicity.
The prize voucher cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
Except in the case of death or personal injury caused by the Promoter’s negligence, the Promoter shall not be responsible for any loss, damage, personal injury or death whatsoever and howsoever caused which arises in connection with the prize draw.
The prize must be taken by 31 March 2012 and is subject to cottage availability and English Heritage booking terms and conditions.
The winner must comply with any terms and conditions or rules set by the property. These will be issued when the cottage stay is booked with English Heritage.
