Claims

At Ecclesiastical, we like to keep claims simple.

When your customers make a claim, we’ll look at their cover to see how we can best compensate them. We’ll work swiftly, and deal with the claim fairly. If we can resolve the claim when first contacted, we will.

But if it’s a little more complicated, we’ll ensure customers always know what’s happening. We’ll give them direct access to the expert claims handler dealing with the claim, who will be able to make key decisions.

Our 98% satisfaction score among customers who make a claim is not enough for us, which is why we’re proud that 92% say they're extremely or very satisfied with our claims service.*

Handpicked, experienced loss adjusters

We work closely with loss adjusters experienced in our specialist sectors. And because we employ a rigorous recruitment process and carry out regular reviews we give our loss adjusters significant delegated authority levels – so they’re empowered to help your clients speedily, when it matters.

Protecting your client’s interests

We’ll take a proactive approach to protecting your customer’s interests against third party legal liability claims. And we’ll always consult them before making any admission of liability.

We’ve worked with our carefully selected panel of specialist solicitors for many years because they’ve consistently demonstrated their expertise in our specialist sectors by successfully defending claims.

Giving your clients choice

If your client’s property damage claim requires a supplier with specialist skills we can recommend one of the experienced contractors we work with. But, if your clients have existing relationships with their own suppliers, in most cases, we’ll let them carry out the work.

Helping customers through the claims process

To help your customers, we’ve produced three claims guides, one for home insurance claims, one for commercial insurance claims and one for faith insurance claims

These guides contain details of the information we’ll need to know for each type of claim as well as details of what happens after you’ve made a claim.
