Amity Global Equity Income Fund for Charities
The Amity Global Equity Income Fund for Charities is designed to meet the needs of Charity investor groups who are looking for a good income yield with a secondary aim of capital appreciation over the medium to long term.*
The Fund targets an income of 3.5% per annum** (please note this is indicative and the actual income may vary).
The Fund seeks to invest primarily in a diversified portfolio of higher yielding equities of UK and International companies which make a positive contribution to society through sustainable and socially responsible practices.
The Fund seeks to avoid investment in companies which have a material involvement (10% of pre-tax profit or turnover) in alcohol, tobacco, weapon production, gambling and the publication of violent or explicit material, companies using animals to test cosmetic or household products and businesses with intensive farming practices, such as battery farming.
EIM employs both negative and positive screening to its stock selection process and engages with companies before, during and after investing. This process is integrated into our overall investment management process and we employ specific screening criteria when considering the suitability of an investment.
For further detail on the ethical screening we apply to our funds, please refer to our dedicated page on ethical criteria .
