When you claim, we’ll look at your cover to see how we can best compensate you. We’ll work swiftly, and deal with your claim fairly. If we can resolve your claim when you first contact us, we will.
But if it’s a little more complicated, we’ll ensure you always know what’s happening. We’ll give you direct access to the expert claims handler dealing with your claim, who will be able to make key decisions about your claim.
We’ll take a proactive approach to protecting your interests against third party legal liability claims. And we’ll always consult you before making any admission of liability.

These guides contain details of the information we’ll need to know for each type of claim as well as details of what happens after you’ve made a claim.

By the time you need to claim, we’ll have already done our best to make sure that you have a policy that’s right for you, so that the likelihood that you’re covered is higher.
When you make a claim, we’ll look at how your policy covers you, and settle your claim fairly – just as you expected when you took out your policy. Where there is cover – we’ll find it.

In our most recent survey in 2008, over 92% of customers who had made a claim told us they were very or extremely satisfied with the claims service we gave them. And over 98% were satisfied.
