Gary Cupitt

financial adviser (face to face)

Born in Doncaster and raised alongside a younger sister, Gary was educated at the North Border Comprehensive, where he proved sporty as well as academic, playing football for the school team whilst gaining his CSE's.

Working life then took shape as a trainee pattern cutter in the shoe industry, followed by a two-year spell as a bricklayer. It was then that Gary's financial services career began and he joined Pearl Assurance as a Consultant in 1982.

Progressing up the ladder to the realms of management, he was promoted to the position of Sales Manager in 1989, and then onto Area Manager before resigning and joining Britannic ten years later. With twenty years in the business and the full Financial Planning Certificate under his belt, Gary joined Ecclesiastical in October 2002.

His motivation lies in "pride and satisfaction in helping people attain their financial goals and aspirations", and as such, Gary is a great asset to the company.

Out of office hours, Gary enjoys spending time with his wife Shirley and daughters Hollie and Rachael, but when the company of three women proves too much, the peace and tranquillity of the golf course are his salvation, where he enjoys a game or two as well as coaching junior enthusiasts.
