heritage residential insurance
If you’re an owner of a heritage property and/or fine art collection, you’ll likely to feel both affection for your residence and possessions and a desire to protect them. And if your property is listed, you have a legal obligation to preserve what is an important part of our country’s heritage. Our 2008 research shows that as many as 72% of listed buildings are incorrectly insured leaving owners at significant risk or paying over the odds.
55% of listed properties are under-insured – some by significant amounts
17% are over-insured – which means owners are paying for cover they don’t need
Only 28% are correctly insured
For these reasons, it’s essential that you have adequate insurance protection to restore your property if the worst happens, as well as appropriate cover for any art treasures which grace its interiors. Specialist insurance is essential and this is where we can help.
