Our buildings insurance now gives you an automatic limit of £500,000 for all properties of standard construction. Higher limits and cover for older or more unusual properties are available. Cover includes:

Cover for trees, plants and shrubs – up to £2,500
Trace and access cover to locate the source of water or oil leakages at your home – up to £5,000
Accidental damage cover available as an option
Storm or flood - includes cover for fences, hedges and gates where your main building or outbuilding is damaged at the same time
Your choice for repairs
We let you choose who you want to use for repairs. You can use someone from our list of approved suppliers, use your own supplier or, in some circumstances, you can get a cash payment.
