Originally training as a mechanical engineer in the automotive sector, John has worked for GKN, WR Grace, Tokyo Electron, ICI and BMW gaining experience in an extensive range of industries from automotive to process chemicals.
Originally training as a mechanical engineer in the automotive sector, John has worked for GKN, WR Grace, Tokyo Electron, ICI and BMW gaining experience in an extensive range of industries from automotive to process chemicals.
John’s interest in health and safety management was awakened whilst working as shift manager in the chemical industry and he accepted his first full-time safety role in 2000. Prior to joining Ecclesiastical Risk Services Ltd, the last 4½ years was spent in the role of Health and Safety Specialist with Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Ltd and had the honour of serving as secretary for the UK Motor Industry Safety Group.
John has joined Ecclesiastical Risk Services as a health and safety consultant, and is particularly excited about helping develop activities within Ecclesiastical’s niche markets.
John is a chartered member of the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and an Associate of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA).
