Campaign Manager (1936)

About the role

The purpose of this role is to develop and deliver a range of marketing campaigns and marketing communications for the direct customer to meet business requirements.

Key accountabilities

  • Develop and implement compelling campaigns and customer communications in conjunction with the Marketing Manager, other specialists within the marketing and communications team and internal clients
  • Ability to write strong creative briefs which give colleagues and external agencies a deep understanding of the project and the messaging
  • Deliver integrated marketing campaigns on time and to budget, working with the Marketing Manager and others as required 
  • Analyse campaign results against agreed KPIs/campaign objectives, applying learning into future activities
  • Ensuring all marketing collateral, messaging and other communications are kept up to date on our website, brand central etc. 
  • Proactively share updated material with internal colleagues as per our standard marketing processes including the campaign planning process
  • Manage agencies including onboarding, raising POs, and ensuring value is delivered against the brief
  • Understand our competitive positioning including key messages of our products and services, and how we compare with direct competitors
  • Provide marketing consultancy/support to business partners as required
  • Provide support to the  customer service teams, attend team meetings when relevant, and ensure the customer service  teams are kept up to date on campaigns and other marketing activities
  • Produce ROMI analysis and recommendations
  • Represent Ecclesiastical at events and conferences when required
  • Ensure all marketing and processes meet brand guidelines and are technically correct and compliant
  • Manage  sponsorship relationships to include copy creation, website presence, partner liaison, and event management (working with the events manager) 
  • Be responsible for developing and monitoring individual campaign budgets
  • Proactively keep our Sales and Marketing Hub and our evidence library up to date 
  • Contribute content for awards entries where required

Knowledge, skills and experience

  • Diploma in Marketing desirable or other suitable marketing qualification 
  • A deep knowledge of the full range marketing tools available and the ability to develop and deliver truly integrated campaigns 
  • Excellent written communication skills including grammatical accuracy and ability to adapt written skills to the format (brochure, email, web etc.)
  • Ability to work with agencies to deliver outstanding creativity with a ‘digital first’ approach
  • A good understanding of developing content strategies and how these support a strategic marketing plan
  • A real team player, willing and able to support colleagues and achieve greater collective wisdom in the team
  • Planning and project management skills. Ability to work swiftly and manage a variety of projects simultaneously
  • Able to adjust priorities according to business needs
  • Accomplished in proactive stakeholder management and relationship building
