Ecclesiastical announces rebrand of its investment management business

16 June 2015

Ecclesiastical is pleased to announce that following a review of its specialist responsible investment business, Ecclesiastical Investment Management (EIM), it is to re-brand that part of the business as EdenTree Investment Management.

The live date for the new brand for EIM is 6th July 2015 and will see the company name changed from both a legal perspective and as the brand seen by all clients and stakeholders.

EdenTree Investment Management will remain part of the Ecclesiastical group and no other structural or legal changes are being made.

The new brand will coincide with the launch of a redesigned website which uses the new visual identity. Following research across a number of focus groups, the name EdenTree was chosen to enable the organisation to solidify its position as a leader in socially responsible investments.

Sue Round, Director of Group Investments and Fund Manager at EdenTree Investment Management said: “This marks a major strategic milestone for the company and the rebrand represents our future growth ambitions.

“EdenTree will continue to operate an active, value-based and long-term approach to stock picking, building on the long track record of delivering profit with principles for investors and charities. Responsibility forms the backbone of everything EdenTree will do, from its long-term investment approach to its stance on sustainability. EIMs heritage and long term experience in responsible investing makes us best placed to lead this area of the market.”

The legal name of the fund structure will also be amended to reflect the change, although the individual fund names will be unaffected.
