Entries for our church competition are now closed but you can still help!
As specialist Church insurers, we are always looking for further ways to help protect your Church and its community. We recognise that funding is a key challenge, so are looking to provide practical fundraising support and guidance for Churches in the Diocese of Blackburn.
This online tool is designed to make finding funding as easy as possible. Funds Online contains a database with over 8,000 funders, so finding the right one for you is as easy as a click of button. Run by the Directory of Social Change (DSC), it provides expert insights into grant criteria and best practice applications.
Ecclesiastical Church customers in the diocese are being offered free access to this platform for three months.
Ecclesiastical Church customers in the Diocese of Blackburn are being offered free 6 weeks access to a fundraising helpline.
The helpline is run by our specialist fundraising partners, Philanthropy Company. It is designed to answer queries you have about your fundraising. This may be any question, at any stage of your fundraising journey. You can contact the helpline via phone or email, and the specialist team at Philanthropy Company will signpost you to resources and next steps to help with your query.
This seminar will outline the trusts and foundations landscape in the UK, giving trends and key players for Churches. It will comprehensively cover the application, and how to structure and personalise this vital document.
Perfect for those new to fundraising, or to help those who need to reflect on where they are and where they need to refocus. The session will explore a 10 point checklist that aims to identify key areas of work upon which a successful philanthropy programme is built and identify gaps and actions needed to get started or scale up.
