Helping your clients manage risk: Ecclesiastical offers discounted training with leading provider EduCare
02 April 2019
Ecclesiastical Insurance has partnered with EduCare, the UK’s leading provider of essential duty of care and safeguarding training to deliver accredited risk training to its policyholders.
From April 2019, brokers selecting either an education, charity or charitable care policy from Ecclesiastical will be able to offer an annual licence to their clients with a preferential 25% discount on the annual fee.
The EduCare platform offers online training courses to help organisations manage their risks. Courses cover a wide range of topics including equality and diversity, prevent duty, safeguarding, child protection, safer recruitment and health & safety.
The annual licence provides clients with access to a wide selection of online courses, independently verified by the CPD Certification Service and written or endorsed by subject matter experts including Kidscape, Winston’s Wish, Young Minds, The Children’s Society, and RoSPA.
Courses covering more practical issues such as food hygiene and safety, manual handling, fire safety, and an introduction to the General Data Protection Act are also available under selected licences.
Faith Kitchen, education and heritage director at Ecclesiastical explained: “We understand that the risks for our customers are wide ranging. The EduCare partnership will provide our policyholders with unlimited access to key compliance and duty of care materials that can be used by all members of staff, trustees and volunteers.”
Managers can also monitor staff and volunteer activity allowing them to identify gaps in knowledge and create tailored personal development programmes.
“The EduCare platform will help our policyholders keep their staff, volunteers, and trustees up to date on the latest guidance and techniques to handling some of the most challenging issues, as well as providing a record of the training undertaken,” Faith added.
