Charitable giving is at the heart of what we do – and has been for over 135 years. For the past three years, Ecclesiastical Insurance has run the Movement for Good Awards programme, giving away £3million to great causes. There is no Movement for Good without you, our supporters – thank you.

The awards are back this year and we have over £1million to donate, but we cannot do it without you.

Burnley Boys & Girls Club

Burnley Boys & Girls Club is Burnley's oldest youth charity and provides a safe space for young people to enjoy. See how they have used their donation to improve facilities for their members.

Flying Scholarships

Flying Scholarships for Disabled People (FSDP) change the lives of disabled people by inspiring them, building their confidence, self-esteem and aspirations through life-changing aviation experience including learning to fly.

Lincoln City Foundation

Lincoln City Foundation is using football to bring people together. £1,000 has helped them to pay for Team Talk weekly sessions for 6 months.

Move the Masses

Move the Masses are on a mission to improve people's wellbeing through movement. See how their donation has helped them recruit more volunteers and support more beneficiaries.

Lincolnshire Integrated Voluntary Emergency Service

Lincolnshire Integrated Voluntary Emergency Service deliver fast response, life-saving treatment to people in the Lincolnshire area. Their donation has gone towards keeping their volunteers trained to respond to medical emergencies.

Milestone School

The Friends of The Milestone School is an association of staff, parents and other supporters that raises money for additional resources for The Milestone School – a school for children with special needs, aged 3-16, based in Gloucester.

Listening Post

Listening Post is a professional voluntary counselling service formed to relive emotional and psychological distress.

James Hopkins

James Hopkins provides nursing respite care for Gloucestershire’s life limited and life threatened young children.

Teckels

Teckels provides a rescue and rehoming centre for cats and dogs as well as boarding services. They care for and rehabilitate homeless cats and dogs and find loving homes for them.

Borehamwood Foodbank

Helping local people in crisis with emergency food parcels last year across the area.

Moorland Road

Moorland Road Community library is at the heart of its community, run for and by local residents to inspire and support a lifelong love of books and reading.

Give a Dog a Bone

Companionship in the Community, provides a safe space for retired people to make new friends, learn new skills and mix with dogs.

Childrens Books Ireland

The shadowing scheme is a unique programme that encourages children to read widely and to vote in the Children's Choice Award. Research shows that children who read for pleasure tend to be more absorbed in school, have better academic skills and improved wellbeing.

Homeless Shelter Haven

 The Haven is a Homeless Shelter. It houses between 8 and 12 individuals with various needs.

Disability Sports Coach

In the run-up to the 2020 Olympic and Paralympic games, we want to run a series of five inspirational sports events for disabled people.
