Charity risk barometer
Our Charity Risk Barometer 2019 uncovers key challenges facing charities, helps you capitalise on opportunities and reap major rewards.
Coram is the UK’s oldest children’s charity, founded in 1739 by Royal Charter to protect vulnerable children. They support children and young people from their earliest days to independence. They help build confidence, develop skills, uphold their rights and find loving adoptive families for the most vulnerable.
Ecclesiastical has supported Coram’s work for nearly a decade, and has seen us deliver more than £150,000 of funding in this time for their Life Education programme, which supports primary age schoolchildren to build confidence and resilience.
In 2017, we gave £50,000 to fund a new Relationships Education programme, which will reach over 200,000 children aged 5 to 11. The programme has been developed in response to Coram’s research, which revealed that schools feel they need more support with Sex and Relationships Education (SRE).
