Reputation management for charities
A charity’s reputation is fragile. It can take years to build and only seconds to destroy. How the charity handles times of crisis could make all the difference.
Teckels provides a rescue and rehoming centre for cats and dogs as well as boarding services. They care for and rehabilitate homeless cats and dogs and find loving homes for them.
Established in 2003 after a merger with the Swindon Animal Sanctuary, Teckels vision is a world where all animals are well cared for, respected and their needs understood. They rehome over 250 cats and 150 dogs every year.
In 2018 the charity was facing an uncertain future due to a shortfall in funding. Following an appeal and being one of Ecclesiastical's lucky 12 Days of Giving winners, the charity is now on a sustainable footing.
The £1,000 donation sparked support from other donors and volunteers securing the charity’s immediate future.
