Charity risk barometer
Our Charity Risk Barometer 2019 uncovers key challenges facing charities, helps you capitalise on opportunities and reap major rewards.
Born in Rome, Flavia came to the UK in 1998 and was taken aback by how strongly people here feel about social responsibility.
She wanted to play her part from day one and started by helping her local Catholic church and then moved on to help local charities and sport clubs.
In her spare time Flavia has worked closely with the Gloucestershire Academy of Music as one of their trustees and treasurer for over seven years. She has helped the charity to reach 12 primary schools, created a bursary fund and successfully applied for funding to allow children who can’t afford music lessons to be sponsored.
She is also an active fundraiser, recently organising an event for Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) via Gloucester Swimming Club.
