Schemes
Better when it's delivered when you need it
A blueprint for success
When thinking of transferring a scheme, some brokers will have some concerns and could be put off changing insurance providers. How long will it take? Would there be a disruption to the service we provide our clients? How much effort will be required? Will I be involved throughout the process? What support will the insurer provide?
We understand that changing insurance providers can be daunting. This is the reason why we make it our job to ensure the transfer process is smooth, quick, and you’re involved every step of the way through our collaborative approach. Collaboration is a key factor in all of our scheme relationships. We make sure you’re part of the design and build throughout the new scheme's journey is crucial.
Step 1 - Getting to know you
To ensure we are the right fit for the scheme, we will have an in-depth conversation with you about your plans for the scheme and its performance data. This will enable us to progress to the next step.
Step 2 - Number crunching
We then assess all the information in further detail. Speed is key, which is why we will try to come back to you as soon as possible with a proposed scheme approach.
Step 3 - The A-Team
We will then introduce you to the project team. Each scheme has an allocated technical underwriter, as well as specific contacts within the team for queries and referrals. This means that your relationship is with a team and not with one specific underwriting contact. Together, we look at timeframes, marketing, compliance, underwriting, and pricing, and build a project plan as we gear up together to launch.
Transfer in as little as 8 weeks
“From first phone call to completion, was eight weeks. On a process that typically takes 6 months! Which is unheard of in our world. It’s incredible what we’ve achieved together.”

Step 4 - Getting it built
And then you’re live! Ready to start writing business backed by Ecclesiastical underwriting authority. Throughout the planning process, we will be in regular contact, collaborating with you every step of the way. This means that we project manage schemes to the marketplace in an average of eight weeks.
Step 5 - Reviewing progress
Within the first six months of the scheme going live, we will review the account just to make sure everything is working as it should be and review anything that we need to improve.
Step 6 - Keep in touch
We don’t like to leave it there. When the scheme launches, you’ll be assigned a point of contact for day-to-day management. This person oversees the scheduling of the annual scheme health check and provides support with anything additional required.
Better peace of mind
"A lot of work was undertaken by Ecclesiastical to ensure underwriting guides/policy documents/ premium rating were in place, and both businesses worked together closely on this, which only developed a stronger working relationship between both parties."
Towergate
The core of our relationships is a culture that’s built around collaboration.
The best ideas are generated from conversations, and our commitment to you is that we will listen and immerse ourselves in the process to help you continuously develop your scheme's proposition.
