How we provide mortgage advice

Ecclesiastical Financial Advisory Services (EFAS) offers expert independent mortgage advice. We specialise in providing advice to those who live in tied accommodation, for example, clergy, teachers and military personnel but our services are available to everyone.

Our experienced team has in-depth knowledge of the different lenders prepared to consider those living in tied accommodation, saving you the time and trouble of finding someone who understands your circumstances.

EFAS independent mortgage advice

Our advisers offer expert advice to help you find the most suitable mortgage product on the market.

Whether you are:

  • thinking about buying your first home or moving house
  • thinking about buying a property to let out
  • coming to the end of your current mortgage deal and looking to remortgage
  • wanting to know how much you can borrow or how large a deposit you’ll need.
We do this by researching a huge range of mainstream and specialist mortgage lenders and their product range to find the best one for you. Our advisers will be able to answer any questions you may have and guide you through the entire process – from application to completion – to make it as quick and easy as possible.

EFAS advice fee

We charge a fee for our mortgage advice service which is payable on application for the mortgage we recommend. The first discussion is at our expense and there is no obligation unless we can help you.

Our standard mortgage advice fee is included in our About our Services brochure.

Please remember - your home could be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
