Heather Ford

Church Support Manager (North)

Meet Heather – your Church Support Manager for the North.

“As a Church Support Manager, I’m here to help support churches with their insurance needs, provide additional guidance around risk management, and deal with the responsibilities imposed by health and safety legislation. But the bigger part of my job is to inspire churches and help them see that insurance is designed not to put blocks in their way but to enable them to do their ministry and thrive. The beauty of my job is that no two days are ever the same, with so many different questions popping up. I’m able to deal with many of them myself, but where I can’t, I can pass you on to someone from the relevant team, where we have people with, collectively, hundreds of years of experience. The idea is that we consistently give you the right answer the first time."

Heather is a keen amateur archer who is kept ‘very busy’ by four grandchildren and her mini poodle and lives in Wensleydale, Yorkshire, with her partner.
