Levens joins the specialist insurer from Allianz where he had been most recently Property and Casualty Manager, having progressed through the business in a variety of underwriting roles after joining as a graduate.
He takes over from Andy Pearce, who retires in April after 25 years of service with Ecclesiastical during which time he helped to significantly grow the company’s property and casualty portfolio.
Levens’s appointment comes at a pivotal time for the specialist insurer, with his appointment set to support Ecclesiastical growth ambitions and vision to become the UK’s most successful, trusted, and admired specialist insurer.
