Ecclesiastical’s claims service makes it four in a row

Ecclesiastical has been recognised for excellence in claims handling by independent consultancy Gracechurch for the fourth year in a row.

The findings are based on responses from insurance brokers operating in the UK commercial market and measure both the quality of the service and the credibility of the claims teams.

For the fourth year running, Gracechurch has awarded Ecclesiastical the Service Quality Marque (SQM), which is awarded annually to businesses that are proven to consistently deliver outstanding service quality for claims handling.

The data showed Ecclesiastical is a market leader in both casualty/liability and property markets, and that its staff and their approach, in the speed of claims handling, relationships, and communication, is market leading.

“Receiving the Service Quality Marque by Gracechurch for the fourth consecutive year is brilliant news.

“We know based on our satisfaction surveys that we provide customers and brokers with an excellent service, but to receive independent reinforcement of that is always good and I’m incredibly proud of the team, who work so hard year-round. I’m especially proud that Ecclesiastical Insurance has been recognised as market-leading in speed, relationships, and communication.

“We won’t be resting on our laurels, though, and I am determined to continue to improve our performance levels to help our business grow while providing customers with the top-quality service they’ve come to expect.”

Jeremy Trott, Claims Director at Ecclesiastical Insurance

“Ecclesiastical consistently delivers exceptional claims service and rightly deserves to be acknowledged as one of the leaders in the UK insurance market. It manages to combine technical excellence with efficiency and empathy. Well done to the whole team.”

Ben Bolton, Gracechurch Consulting Managing Director
