Ecclesiastical and iprism come together to offer new digital platform for brokers

Specialist insurer Ecclesiastical and managing general agent (MGA) iprism have launched a new digital platform providing cover for smaller not-for-profit organisations operating in the charity, education and faith sectors.

The new platform builds on Ecclesiastical’s existing partnership with the MGA and will make it easier to reach the market and brokers directly. The partnership also gives Ecclesiastical access to iprism’s own extended distribution, including smaller not-for-profit organisations.

As a uniquely charity-owned insurer that gives back to communities through its charitable giving, Ecclesiastical is already making a difference at a local level. The specialist insurer is now looking to partner with brokers who know and understand the risks their customers face better than anyone else to expand on that support.

“This new proposition builds on our already excellent trading relationship with iprism. They have market-leading underwriting, distribution capability, and a shared alignment with our philosophies, which makes it an ideal partnership.

“It gives our regional teams additional capacity to focus on growing our business in niche areas while maintaining our position as an insurer that supports local communities through our products and charitable giving.”

Chris continued: “Working with iprism gives us a fantastic opportunity to expand on the work we do with MGAs. We’re impressed with their digital capability, which we’re sure will help brokers reach smaller non-profit organisations in their communities.

“By bringing this new digital solution to the market, we’ll be able to grow our business and offer a high-quality service to even more customers.”

Chris Withers, Ecclesiastical Insurance Schemes and Partnerships Director

The new offer comes with an e-trading platform that has been developed with iprism and provides brokers with a quicker and easier way of getting a quote for customers.

The system has been developed to allow brokers to input customer information directly into the platform and automatically quote a premium as well as produce the relevant policy documents. The specialist insurer has already moved all existing non-profit customers across to the new platform and seen positive outcomes as a result.

“Ecclesiastical is an important partner for iprism, so I’m delighted that we’ve been able to work together to deliver this new platform. It brings together our technical expertise in e-trading with their products to offer more choice, more convenience, and greater accessibility for brokers.”

Ian Lloyd, iprism CEO
