Specialist insurer Ecclesiastical has joined the National Emergencies Trust (NET) Appeal Partners Programme. The partnership strengthens the charity’s mission to provide fast, effective support to those affected by national emergencies, when they need it most.
The Appeal Partners Programme brings together trusted organisations that share the Trust’s commitment to supporting communities in urgent need. During UK disasters, members leverage their expertise, networks, and resources to maximise the reach and impact of the Trust’s nationwide fundraising appeals.
With its long history of supporting communities, both through its specialist insurance services and charitable initiatives through its owner, Benefact Group, Ecclesiastical will play a crucial role in mobilising expertise and resources when future emergencies arise. The insurer is lending support through its specialist enterprise risk management team, which supports organisations to identify and mitigate their strategic risks.
By collaborating with the Trust and its network at speed, it will help to ensure those affected receive the best support possible.
“Cross-society collaboration is vital during emergencies. It means efforts aren’t duplicated, resources are applied effectively, and, most importantly, those affected receive the best possible care. The Appeal Partners Programme helps to facilitate that collaboration, so we’re delighted that Ecclesiastical is joining as our newest member. Their networks and specialist expertise will make a huge difference when it's needed most.”
“This partnership reflects our shared commitment to supporting communities through times of urgent need. We hope an emergency situation doesn’t arise, but when it does we clearly want to play our part. By sharing our risk management expertise with the National Emergencies Trust we can help to strengthen the resilience of communities across the UK.”
