Jeremy Trott

Church Operations Director

About Jeremy

Jeremy has worked in insurance for more than 30 years, building extensive experience across underwriting, strategy, innovation and claims. He began his career as an underwriter and progressed through a variety of underwriting and management roles before moving to Allianz UK, where he led Innovation and Strategy and later became Head of Claims Operations. After nearly 15 years with Allianz, he joined Ecclesiastical in October 2020 as Claims Director, where he led an award-winning claims team for over five years. In July 2026, Jeremy was appointed Church Operations Director at Ecclesiastical, leading the organisation's work with churches and supporting one of its most important customer groups.

Alongside his executive career, Jeremy has been actively involved with the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) for more than 20 years at both local and national level. He has served as Chair of the Claims Faculty and Society of Claims Professionals on two occasions, helping to shape professional standards and development across the insurance claims sector.

Jeremy is passionate about delivering outstanding customer outcomes, building high-performing teams and using innovation and technology to enhance both customer and colleague experiences.
