Energy services

Severn Wye Energy Agency has 25 years of experience supporting residents, businesses, and communities to change the way they use energy, to create a sustainable, affordable, and low-carbon future. A profit-for-purpose company and registered charity, they operate primarily throughout Wales and its English border counties.

Products and services

Severn Wye specialises in detailed energy efficiency analysis, surveys, reports, and recommendations for homes, businesses, and community buildings, to help clients make energy-efficiency improvements. Recommendations are tailored to the clients’ property and sustainability goals.

Working closely with funders and installers, Severn Wye teams make sure the right installations are made in the right property. All retrofit assessors and coordinators are qualified to work on historic buildings, and principally follow a ‘fabric first’ methodology, addressing heat loss from the building before considering new energy sources.

Severn Wye services include:

  • Energy surveys for homes and businesses
  • Retrofit assessment and coordination
  • Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) for landlords
  • Thermal surveys
  • Grant application support
  • Bespoke recommendations and reports on efficiency improvements
  • Energy Performance Certificates (EPC)
  • Air permeability testing
  • Energy brokering
