Inspirational speaker Chris Moon joins us again and discusses what steps we can take to support others in need.


Our survey1 found that over two-thirds of brokers have experienced some kind of mental health issue linked to work in the last 12 months. Here we explore how we can support others in need and dig into some of the ways employers are introducing a variety of supports for employees, from counselling to yoga.

Our survey also identified:

  • 54% agree that attitudes towards mental health have improved in their organisation in the past 12 months
  • Nine in every 10 brokers are confident they can recognise the signs of poor mental health in themselves and feel they have the tools and techniques to cope with everyday stresses
  • Brokers working for national networks are significantly more likely to experience a mental health issue than brokers working for regional and provincial brokerages.

Our intention with these videos is to offer insight and support on topics that our research has identified as areas of concerns for our brokers.
