The protective housing for the movement and dial.
Crystal
The glass that covers and protects the dial and hands.
Dial
Where the time is displayed. Can be Roman or Arabic numerals, simple dots, or dashes, also can be referred to as the ‘face’.
Ceramic
The mechanism that powers the clock and ‘moves’ the hands around the dial.
